Keegans Energises Future Talent at South London Retrofit Skills Summit

Keegans had a blast at the South London Retrofit Skills Summit. Hosted by London Borough of Merton in collaboration with the South London Partnership at AFC Wimbledon, the event was a spotlight for the exciting skills and job opportunities in the retrofit industry across South London. It was a day full of energy, learning and inspiration!

Jon, Justyn, Kathleen and Kailash spent the day chatting with high school students about the ins and outs of retrofit careers. We dove into roles like Assessor, Coordinator, Designer, and Evaluator, and shared real-world examples from our projects. In the evening, Justyn delivered a detailed presentation on the benefits of retrofitting and the career prospects the industry offers, highlighting how retrofitting can benefit residents and the community by improving energy efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing living conditions.

We wanted to spark interest in retrofit careers and related fields among students and residents—and we did just that! Thank you to Merton Council and the South London Partnership for having us at this fantastic event. We look forward to more collaborations in the future.
