Woodcroft Lane is a development by Linden Homes for the Aster Group, forming the S106 component of the larger Catherington Park project in Waterlooville. Situated on a greenfield site in a semi-rural location, this development is designed to provide much-needed affordable housing in the area.
The Woodcroft Lane project includes 40 residential units featuring a mix of Shared Ownership and Affordable Rented properties, comprising both houses and flats. The development was strategically delivered in five distinct phases to ensure effective management and quality control throughout the construction process.
As the appointed Employer's Agent, Keegans played a crucial role in overseeing both the pre- and post-contract stages of the Woodcroft Lane development. Our responsibilities included a comprehensive review of site survey information and project specifications, ensuring alignment with the Employer's Requirements (ERs).
Regular site inspections were conducted to monitor progress against the project schedule. Due to the COVID-19 lockdown, there was a temporary suspension of site visits. Despite these challenges, the project was completed to the client’s satisfaction and is nearing the end of its rectification period.
Keegans' involvement as Employer's Agent ensured effective management and successful completion of the Woodcroft Lane development. The project, completed amidst challenging conditions, meets the high standards set by the client and stakeholders.
