Manson Ting

Manson recently joined Keegans Fire Engineering consultancy team, bringing with him 29 years of Environmental Health and Safety experience across a broad range of industries, including construction, utilities, and testing and certification. He has also been practising fire engineering for more than eight years across Asia and the UK.

Manson is a Member of the Institution of Fire Safety Managers, an Associate of the Institution of Fire Engineers, a Member of the Energy Institute, a Chartered Environmentalist and a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.

With a strong understanding of fire safety engineering principles, UK fire design standards and Building Regulations, Manson provides practical and proportionate fire engineering solutions for clients. His experience includes developing fire strategies, technical notes and Fire Statements, as well as delivering pragmatic fire-engineered solutions for complex projects. He also has extensive experience in carrying out fire risk assessments for a wide range of complex and high-risk premises, including purpose-built blocks of flats and student accommodation over 18m in height, residential care premises, hotels, retail environments and large warehouse buildings.

At Keegans, Manson oversees the delivery of fire engineering consultancy projects and acts as the main point of contact for client project teams, ensuring projects are delivered effectively and with a practical, solutions-focused approach.

Outside of work, Manson enjoys supporting his local community by sharing his health and safety knowledge and experience. He also enjoys spending time with his family and watching TED Talks and Discovery Channel programmes.
