Ashley Theakstone

With a background of regulatory experience within a Fire Service career, fire risk assessment and fire engineering consultancy, Ashley Theakstone brings a strong range of skills, knowledge and experience across the public and commercial sectors.

Ashley is a pragmatic Fire Safety professional with extensive experience in fire safety engineering, fire risk assessment, fire safety management and training delivery; he has led fire disciplinary teams delivering a wide range of fire consultancy projects, including retrospective and new-build (RIBA Stages) design fire strategies for residential portfolios; Office & Retail, Healthcare, Education premises, plus external façade remediation works for Higher-Risk Buildings.

Ashley is proud to hold Fellow membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) and Membership grade of the SFPE the IFSM, Associate membership of CABE and APS, and holds Eng Tech of the Engineering Council (working towards IEng) and the currently studying the RICS L6 EWS course.

Outside of work, Ashley is a busy volunteer Scout leader and enjoys open-water swimming and walking his family Cocker Spaniel dog.
