Judith Turner and Felleng Nthane from our Quantity Surveying/Employer’s Agent team recently spent a rewarding day volunteering at FreeShop Crawley’s Community Café.

During the day, they supported the café by serving food and drinks to attendees and helping with clearing and tidying, ensuring the space remained welcoming for everyone.

The café exists to support people facing financial hardship by connecting them with practical resources and guidance to help them move forward. Alongside the weekly café, Freeshop Crawley offers workshops, courses, one-to-one support on topics such as budgeting, wellbeing and form filling, as well as free digital access through its Learning Lab.

It also provides a warm, friendly environment where members of the local community can come together, socialise, and feel supported.

This volunteering effort forms part of our ongoing social value commitment to Crawley Borough Council.

Well done Judith and Felleng for making a meaningful impact!
