Keegans Appointed for Thurrock Council Retrofit

Keegans has been appointed as Cost Consultant and Contract Administrator for the retrofit of 206 council-owned homes in Thurrock, forming part of the borough’s Transforming Homes programme to improve housing quality and energy performance across the area.

The project covers 185 LECA-B non-traditional homes in South Ockendon and 21 Airey-type houses in Orsett, all built between 1945 and 1955. These properties will undergo comprehensive improvements, including external wall insulation, loft insulation, new windows and doors, to enhance energy efficiency, durability.
