Project Overview 

The works included for insulated copper cladding to the external envelope, two glazed corner projections extending from the fabric of the existing building and a total remodeling of all floors to a Category B fit out finish.

 

 

On the ground floor a new conference centre has been installed with a reception/hub area and new café. An existing external area to the party wall has been converted into a new atrium with glazed ceilings and exhibition wall spaces. Floors 1-3 have been converted into work spaces and meeting rooms.

 

On the fourth floor a new restaurant with roof terrace was installed alongside another conference space with a PV array being installed on the rooftop. The basement is being converted from an underground car park into an archive facility for the RPS museum and library artefacts with safety and security of the utmost importance.

 

 

Extensive service installations were implemented and they include for making the area completely air and water tight through major draught and waterproofing installations to allow for a Vesda fire suppression system to be installed as well as a bespoke security system.
