This large retrofit programme in Hull includes over 800 Retrofit Assessments, condition surveys, energy reports and occupancy reports.
Each Retrofit assessment included an energy report, which is equivalent to an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). This gave a base model for us to run different scenarios for adding in new windows, doors and external wall insulation (EWI) which enabled us to calculate potential energy savings for the intended works package.
All design stages have now been completed as well as air tightness tests. The Works on site are now well underway with 97 of the properties complete and lodged with TrustMark. Works will continue on site until the tail end of 2024 or first quarter of 2025.
