Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Keegans is recruiting for a London-based Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Cost Consultancy team. The right candidate will positively contribute and progress within a friendly multi-disciplinary construction consultancy.

The successful candidate will be working on a range of projects in both the public/social and private residential, education and commercial sectors. This role is client-facing, working within a growing dynamic and professional team to carry out a full suite of quantity surveying & employer agent duties during pre and post-contract stages.

The ideal candidate must have

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Ideally, candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience primarily in cost consultancy, with a strong background as an Employer's Agent within a consultancy environment
• Working towards MRICS or MCIOB or recently qualified
• Good experience in pre and post-contract stages from inception to completion in relevant sectors
• Good track record in successfully supporting and possibly running/ working on projects
• Knowledge of new build and refurbishment residential, education and commercial project
• Client-facing with strong communication, able to work as a team with strong interpersonal skills
