Completed in July, and open to pupils since the start of term in September, the event saw the official ribbon cutting ceremony. The event was also attended by the Chair and local councilors from Central Bedfordshire Council, the local town Council Mayor, as well as representatives from Ashe Construction and Lands Improvement.

It was great to hear such positive feedback from the pupils – the material selection making them “feel calmer”, and the arrangement of the spaces being “more communal… which they said feels more like a community”.

Deputy Head, Chris Gunning said: “The school not only looks fantastic, but is an educational experience in itself, we are now an eco-school. We started the Green Flag incentive because we were inspired by the design.”
