Wilmcote House project reaps more awards

Wilmcote House project won the Sustainability Award at the Constructing Excellence South East and London Awards.

A leading example of a sustainable low energy refurbishment, Wilmcote House is the only UK case study for the PassivHaus Institute’s Europhit programme and the largest EnerPHit project in the world.  The 11 storey regeneration scheme is forecast to achieve a 90% reduction in annual heating costs for residents, saving more than £1,000 per dwelling per year. A catalyst for change, Wilmcote House provides national and international reference for high-quality, large-scale refurbishment.

It beat stiff competition including London Bridge Station redevelopment and Q6 delivery prgrogramme – infrastructure and aviation business unit.

Our Project Manager for the project, Ron Spence was there to collect the award alongside our sister company ECD’s Managing Director James Traynor.

As a winner of the Constructing Excellence SECBE Awards, the project will be entered into the National Constructing Excellence Awards which take place on the 16th November 2018.
