Keegans are currently working with this client on a series of projects which has included Employer’s Agent, Cost Consultancy, Project Management, Project Co-ordinator and CDM Co-ordinator services based on a bespoke client contract
Work carried out includes the new facility in Livingston which was a heavily serviced new build consisting of 12 laboratories, mass spectrometer rooms offices and conference facilities, external works and car parking. This was a design and build contract and we worked closely with the novated design team.
The second phase included the fit out of a shell to form more offices and laboratories.
The third phase is to re configure the existing mass spectrometer areas to form enhanced facilities for increased numbers of mass spectrometers.
The next phase is to add 20,000ft2 of building to the existing facility which will provide additional laboratory facilities in a controlled environment, secondary changing, office accommodation and conferencing facilities. This is expected to progress during 2010.
