Keegans were appointed as CDM Co-ordinator for the construction of a new two storey sports pavilion with a balcony and car park.  Once complete the demolition of the old single storey pavilion will be undertaken.

A Type 3 Asbestos Survey was undertaken of the old pavilion identifying Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) which appear in the roof tiles, DPC and WC’s, all of which will be dealt with and correctly disposed of during the demolition period.

Use of the existing tennis courts has been suspended during the construction phase to eliminate the risks of unwanted tennis balls on the construction site.

An aquifer runs adjacent to proposed site so foundations have been designed to minimal depth so as not to contaminate local water course, which services local allotments.
