Retrofit Assessments for Hull City Council

Keegans have been appointed to carry out Retrofit Assessments and Retrofit Coordination by Fortem for Hull City Council. This included over 800 Retrofit Assessments, condition surveys, energy reports and occupancy reports.

Each Retrofit assessment includes doing an energy report, which is equivalent to an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). This gives a base model for us to run different scenarios for adding in new windows, doors and external wall insulation (EWI) which enables us to calculate potential energy savings for the intended works package.

All design stages have been completed and we are currently awaiting the air tightness tests to be completed, due beginning of March 2022. Once complete, Keegans will be on site 15-20% of the time to ensure works are completed to PAS 2035 standards. All work is then documented and recorded, and once signed off by a Retrofit Coordinator, uploaded to Trustmark through the Elmhurt Portal.
