Archbishop Tenison’s CE School, Lambeth

Due to a significant increase in the number of students entering the Sixth Form and an increase in retention of the schools existing Year 11 students, Keegans were appointed to project manage the build of an additional storey to their existing Design and Technology Building to provide further Sixth Form accommodation. This provides a further 2 teaching spaces of 80 square metres, and 2 syndicate rooms of 40 metres square, a toilet and internal lift.

As the works were undertaken during school term time Keegans carefully programmed the works to consider the needs of the school in the day to day operation.

A detailed Method Statement was used when programming the works to minimise the disruption of teaching activities and to protect the internal spaces within the existing school which remained in use throughout the project.
