Keegans were appointed by Alexandra Park & Palace Charitable Trust (APPCT) in January 2010  to provide Quantity Surveying services for the replacement of the ice rink.

Alexandra Palace first opened in 1873 as “The People’s Palace” and is now a Grade 2 Listed Building.

It provides a versatile exhibition, conference and banqueting venue hosting a wide range of events from the venue for professional examinations to major televised sporting tournaments and concerts.

Works included:

  • replacement of the plant and associated barriers, enclosures and gates, perimeter floor coverings and low-e ceiling
  • improved lighting
  • additional spectator seating
  • modifications to ticket office and foyer
  • minor refurbishment of changing rooms, toilets and skate hire
