Following the recent accolades of 2 Placemaking awards, one for promoting economic growth and the other the regional Scotland award, celebrating excellence in UK planning and regeneration, bd reports on how over the past 16 years, Lochgelly, described in 2004 as ‘the last place in Britain people want to live’ (Guardian) has embarked on an extraordinary programme of regeneration and renewal.

Led by Ore Valley Housing Association in conjunction with our sister company ECD Architects design team including Keegans quantity surveyors, have utterly transformed the town centre of Lochgelly.
