Keegans appointed place on Homes England MRS Fire Risk Assessor Panel
Keegans are delighted to announce our place on the Homes England Medium Rise Scheme (MRS) Fire Risk Assessor Panel.
The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities are in the pilot stage of a new initiative allowing applications for government funded remediation of buildings between 11-18m based on the recommendations of a Fire Risk Appraisal of External Walls.
The FRAEWs providing recommendations for eligible buildings will have to be produced to the PAS9980 standard and be signed off by an accredited fire engineer. This fire engineer must belong to a company with membership of the assessor panel administered by Homes England for the Medium Rise Scheme.
